Kansas Gas Service recently donated $87,500 to the Ark City Area Community Improvement Foundation, a non-profit community betterment organization in Arkansas City, Kansas.

According to Lauren Clary, area community relations manager for Kansas Gas Service, the donation results from the company’s commitment to the communities it serves.

“Our company has been part of the Arkansas City community for decades, and we’re honored to play a role in supporting its growth and success through the Community Improvement Foundation,” said Clary.

Kevin Campbell, president of Ark City Area Community Improvement Foundation, commends Kansas Gas Service for its donation that will help provide resources to benefit a variety of social and civic endeavors.

“This contribution is an excellent example of the important support Kansas Gas Service provides in communities it serves,” said Campbell. “Their commitment to economic development activities is longstanding, and this gift will help to continue supporting local community betterment initiatives for decades to come.”

The Community Improvement Foundation’s mission centers on economic development and business preservation, relief for underprivileged residents, advancement of education and promotion of social welfare.
