OVERLAND PARK, Kan. –September 20, 2017 –  Kansas Gas Service will be replacing natural gas distribution service pipelines in Hutchinson, Kansas, on Sept. 27.

This project will take place along the 3600 block of N. Lorraine St. and will require closure of the northbound lane of N. Lorraine, north of E. 35th Ave. Kansas Gas Service is expecting work to be completed and lane re-opened on Sept. 27, weather permitting. 

“This project is a part of our regularly scheduled maintenance plan and is a system-improvement program,” said James Lambert, manager of community relations for Kansas Gas Service.

Customers affected by these projects will be notified by Kansas Gas Service, or by notice left at their home or business.
