OVERLAND PARK, Kan. –June 27, 2016 –Kansas Gas Service will begin replacing natural gas distribution service pipelines in Hutchinson, Kan., on Tuesday, July 5.

The project will take place from Monroe to Tyler Streets, between West 23rd Avenue and Rustic Road, and is expected to be completed by mid-September, weather permitting. Company officials do not anticipate any major interruption to traffic flow.

“This project is a part of our regularly scheduled maintenance plan and is a system-improvement program,” said Tim Cox, manager of community relations for Kansas Gas Service.
Customers affected by this project will be notified by NPL, the contractor assisting Kansas Gas Service, or by notice left at their home or business.
