OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Jan. 27, 2016 – Kansas Gas Service will begin replacing natural gas distribution service pipelines in Osborne, Kan., on Monday, Feb. 15.

The project is expected to be completed in approximately three to four months, weather permitting. Company officials do not anticipate any major interruption to traffic flow.

“This project is a part of our regularly scheduled maintenance plan and is a system-improvement program,” said James Lambert, manager of community relations for Kansas Gas Service.

Customers affected by this project will be notified by Miller Pipeline, the contractor assisting Kansas Gas Service, or by notice left at their home or business.

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – July 22, 2015 – The ONE Gas Foundation recently presented, on behalf of its Kansas Gas Service division, a $4,100 donation grant to the Atchison Area United Way.

The ONE Gas Foundation gift represents a dollar-for-dollar match of the contributions made by Atchison and Hiawatha area employees during last year’s annual United Way campaign.

OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – July 22, 2015 – ONE Gas, Inc. (NYSE: OGS) announced that its Kansas Gas Service division recently presented Bethel Neighborhood Center in Kansas City, Kan., with a $10,000 grant from the ONE Gas Foundation.

The grant will go towards the center’s capital campaign to renovate the facility and will be used to relocate the entrance to a safer side of the building with less traffic.

Kansas Gas Service Community Relations Manager Margaret Steele says the grant is an example of the company’s commitment to safety. “We’re proud to support Bethel Neighborhood Center and excited that our contribution will increase the safety of its clients.”

Bethel Neighborhood Center provides a variety of educational, health, social and spiritual services for children and seniors.

Margie Pinaire, Director of Geary Community Schools Foundation, says the grant will assist in providing Junction City High School students with technology and equipment for its Career and College Prep Center. “Our goal is to help students navigate their roadmap to the future. Additional ThinkPads will give more students access to the tools needed to create resumes, write essays, complete college applications and seek scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
