Third Party Notification

Under the Third Party Notification Plan, the customer designates a third party to receive a copy of the disconnection notice prior to disconnection of service. The third party usually is a caregiver, such as a relative, friend or member of the clergy. The notice gives the designated third party an opportunity to assist the customer in taking action before service is discontinued.
